Being about a day or two days old, the Tokyo Tokyo beside DLS-CSB (formerly Charlie Brown, formerly Chowking) was expected to be filled with hungry and impatient students and other customers. Entering the store at around 7pm, my friends and I expected a long line, and a long wait for the food service. This was true, but acceptable.
30 minutes later we ask for a follow-up.
10 more minutes, ditto.
4 more minutes, ditto.
1 more minute, i began waving the number for serving food above my head for the waiters to see.
the manager approaches and 2 other waiters to again follow up.
after 5 minutes, the food came.
eat eat eat.
RED meat. my order was raw!!!
another waiter passed and i told him i wanted a new one.
they replaced it well, quickly and hot.
eat eat.
my friend wanted more rice. so vito cruz branch had P5 per order of rice because it was 'thai' rice. so he paid.
rice came, it was WET as hell. (raw again)
new rice came, wet again. strike 3.
manager came making excuses, i said he should have told us that excuse in the first place so i would have waited patiently. they gave us 1 free rice.
rice was still wet. had them changed already. but it was eat-able, so we managed.
eat eat eat,
after 10 minutes, manager apologizes with free DESSERT. he says that he wishes us to come back, he apologized because it was their first day (a lie, it was their second or third) blah blah.
im not sure if we're ever going back. we werent even full from the price we paid. maybe when a new food business will open at that unlucky place.well, i might have already graduated then!
